Every movement has it\u2019s own story to tell. <br>The first is the story of Theia the planet that hit the earth and made it blue and green.&nbsp;The second is the ever lasting play of opposites and our paradoxical way of life. The third is a musical image of philosophers wondering about what love is. The fourth is describing the moment when Rama is going to lift and use the bow of Shiva in aspiration of getting Sita as his bride, from the book Ramayana.&nbsp;The 5th is the struggle for freedom and the way to attain Ataraxia, a lasting state of mental tranquility, often sought as the ultimate goal in ancient philosophies. The sixth movement is describing the heroic Hanuman in his struggle to help Rama to get his wife Sita back from the evil king Ravana who has kidnapped her. Hanuman is the great monkey who is the son of the wind and has magical powers.&nbsp;The last and the seventh is our own, all livings journey to save the world from greed and destruction. A new kind &#8211; we call it free soul poetry- inspired by beats and soul of the seventies. In my collaboration with the featured poet Kerstin Perski, who got inspired by the thriller feeling and images of an unknown crime in the&nbsp;&nbsp;music, we made an exciting mix of funky bass lines, jazzy solos on keyboards, heavy horn sections and haunted lyrics. As it is in the beginning of the week, no hurry cause everything changes. I play all the instruments on this album from keyboards to hand percussion except some loops I created. The aria has a total different tempo and arrangement but I heard something else behind it. Then at three a clock in the middle of the night this improvisations took place. Intoxicated by the theme I improvised a couple of variations over the form and chord changes, both in a classic style as well as in the jazz idiom.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the production I arranged it with a double bass line and a synthesizer pad to make it shine.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-spotify wp-block-embed-spotify wp-embed-aspect-21-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Spotify Embed: Improvisations on a theme by Mozart\" style=\"border-radius: 12px\" width=\"100%\" height=\"352\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/album\/3E59BJSnzuJbW6Eicb320x?si=XAlcETc_Q_2VMDipsDCWig&amp;utm_source=oembed\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New album &#8221;Percussion in Orbit\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This production \u201dPercussion in Orbit\u201d will feature dance rhythms with percussion in new compositions and arrangements. From Afro groove, salsa, Latin-jazz to backbeat. In this process I had in mind my earlier experience of meeting some&nbsp;&nbsp;legendary Latin musicians like Sabu Martinez, Bebo Valdez, Pancho Chin Aloi and Wilfredo Stephenson, to name a few. These persons gave me a lot of inspiration to carry on in exploring the fields of Afro-, Latino- music heritage in my own creative way. Even if the outcome doesn\u2019t sound at all like the ones the inspiration came from. This is for me a benefit. This new album of mine was inspired by \u201cEggun\u201d an album of Omar Sousa, his album was in turn inspired by the great album \u201cKind of blue\u201d by Miles Davis. I choose to name my titles in honor of that Miles album. This is&nbsp;&nbsp;a kind of Electric World Jazz with some new&nbsp;&nbsp;combinations of sounds.
